What we have not published.

Every archive has this list and almost nobody prints it. These reasons are not written for this page. They are read straight out of the files where the decisions were made, so this page cannot flatter them. If a reason reads badly, the reason is bad.

21 videos that will not get a description

Mostly one thing: the subject is on the screen and not on the tape. B-roll, a room, a walk, a DJ set. A transcript of a record under a needle is not something to write from, and guessing at what is in shot is worse than an empty description.

  • 1nz5NCYC0sA

a theatre show. What the tape has is a few lines of the performance, which are not mine to reprint and are not what the video is about anyway.

  • 26t1T-x0gVw

a police stop on the street, identifiable people, and a tape too garbled to say what actually happened: "civilian marine", "unmarked rapper". A confident description over an unclear tape is how a caption becomes an accusation.

  • 50GmjU2Pwa4

sixteen words, all of them goodbye.

  • 9AHWSsLVDqE (not public)

two half-sentences from opposite ends of a minute.

  • I_hTIlkbPpk

42 words, and they do not form sentences.

  • JOHt0n6tGRk

liking a hip-hop sample, and a Booyah. No subject.

  • RaTPZXTCE0Y

a musician listing where to find his music, but his name comes through as "Dub Jonamer" and the project as "Orbital Glass", neither confirmable. A guessed name in a title is worse than a bad title. On the list for Maceo.

  • Tb1EC6R4b8w

holding a door open for somebody. That is the whole tape and it may well be the whole video.

  • WDSAhRAEWvU

three disconnected fragments, one of them plainly mis-heard.

  • WEC04oIEkik

cross-talk, a dog being offered pizza, and a microphone changing hands. There is one good line in it about what you hear in your own headphones, and no way to say what the video is about.

  • YkQEkM1BUcU

    thirteen words of hello.

  • YlvBD0CZ0GE

a set: "Oh, yeah" four times.

  • _UeOqt45wmo

its live description is better than anything we wrote: it names Daniel, credits @cxy and @superbi0, thanks Donna Dalton and Aja Davis by name, and identifies the piece as Drop 002 of Season 3 with Creative Alchemy. Replacing it would cut 131 words to 51 and take every credit with it.

  • _nxE0Pslml4

    the same loop. Same conclusion.

  • eN8W47OKBA8

"A hundred of these short form clips today" and then a saxophone. The day is the subject and the tape does not carry it.

  • jmt0rdyP9oY

    a set: "Wow. Hey."

  • k-wE4txzjMI

twenty-two words, none of them about the deck he is on.

  • l3NfAB7yZ_Q

a DJ set; there are no words to write from.

  • uNwdm3a4wPU

somebody excited to play Elena a reggae tune, and no way to tell from the audio what else is happening.

  • vFdLCchOZn4

a shout-out to a son and a subscribe plug; 31 words of a moment that is entirely visual.

  • vZIQlEHDksE

a set in Fort Collins: "Let's go" four times over the music.

Held.

7 written and not shipped

Written, checked, and then not used, because the description already on YouTube is better than ours or carries something ours does not. Keeping a worse version because we wrote it is not a reason.

Not certain enough to print.

Names, projects and links somebody said on camera that we could not confirm. A guessed name is worse than no name, and a guessed link points at a stranger. These wait for the person who knows.

Waiting on a person.

1 piece, unnamed on purpose

Held because of a question about consent, or because of what somebody disclosed on camera. These are not named here: naming one would point at the person it is being held for, which is the opposite of the reason for holding it. They wait for a human decision, not an automated one.

Not reached yet.

366 public videos with no page

Not a refusal. A queue: public on the channel, nothing written for them anywhere yet. Most are transcribed and searchable here. The search reaches them, and the data page counts them.

On the drive.

44.7 hours of tape · 18.8 in a published video · 18.1 read and ranked

Everything on the drive was transcribed in September 2026 and matched to the channel by its words, so this is measured, not estimated: 945 clips, 44.7 hours, 230 of the clips, 18.8 hours, are in a video that is public. Of the 25.9 hours that are not, a person has read 18.1 hours end to end and ranked them, piece by piece, with the reasons for every hold. That record lives in the journal. The rest is B-roll, camera tests and clips under twelve seconds.

Hours, by the clip. "Published" is tape that is in a public video, "Read" is unreleased tape a person has reviewed and ranked.

Held from the drive.

4 held · 3 of them about a person, unnamed on purpose

Read, and not going out. The ones about a person are counted and not described: the same rule as above. The rest are described.

  • A street interview in Denver, 21 March 2026

the subject repeats conspiracy claims on camera, and published as shot it would carry them under our name.

Waiting on an answer.

4 pieces, ready

Reviewed and worth publishing, and not ours alone to publish. Each waits on one person or one organisation.

  • The question-and-answer session at the Channel 5 live show, Denver, 4 April 2026, 34 minutes

a ticketed show on somebody else's stage, so it waits on Channel 5.

  • Four interviews from the Onchain Creators activation at ETHDenver, February 2026

run by another interviewer with a script; whose project they are decides whether they can go out under our name.

  • A session of the Creative Takeover recorded in Zaria, Nigeria, March 2026

the Nigerian crew's piece; it goes out when they say so.

  • A phone privacy workshop from ETH Boulder, February 2026, 46 minutes

a note to the speaker first, as a courtesy.

By shoot day.

35 days the camera dated · 19 with tape on the drive

Every day a camera stamped, what was shot and what came of it. A day with tape and nothing published is the queue in its plainest form.
