Yoel Marino is in Denver for a week from Casper, Wyoming, and what made him smile today is the city itself. “Exploring the city, because I’m not from Denver, so I came from out of state and I’m just exploring downtown. It’s been pretty fun.” Compared with home: “The complete opposite, I would say. Because over there’s like a bunch of just land. Open land, small town.”

And We Them Media is a community-driven media platform trying to be at the intersection of tech, community, and culture. And this week, we’re going out in the world and asking people the question, what’s something that made you smile today? I would say exploring the city, because I’m not from Denver, so I came from out of state and I’m just exploring downtown. It’s been pretty fun. It’s like a whole new experience, like just going out in the world and just, I guess, messing around.
