A pitch for one place to find builders and money.
Four minutes of pitch footage from an Africa Web3 event in Ethiopia: one presenter, one deck, a room of builders and possible funders.
The problem it opens on is one most developers in that room will recognise. You build something, open source or personal or at a hackathon, “and then they just end up like beautifying your GitHub repositories, or you get funds, and then these funds don’t like really take you take your project to the market.” That was never the point. “our main aim is always to ensure that our project end up to the market and solve real-world problems. But, that’s not the case currently.” The room gets it put to them directly: “If maybe I check to your GitHub repositories, you have more of them that are just there, but not executed out here.”
The diagnosis is that what is missing is people and money rather than code. Investment does not arrive, resources are limited, and there is a “lack of skilled builders, maybe promoters, and uh maybe also developers, you lack all of them, and this is this is what makes your project not reach the next level.”
The proposal is a community that keeps all of that in one place: “what our solution is trying to bring in is to build a community of where we can get all these resources in one store.” Five roles hold it up. Ideators, who initiate a project. Builders “who help to build and uh to foster development of the project”. Project managers “who will help in tracking the project’s milestones”. Marketers, to “bring the ideas to the market so that the social media can see it and also promote it”. And “the last one will have the investors who will fund the project in every stage.”
Two features sit on top of that. First, AI agents doing three jobs: helping the ideators “to help refine the ideas”, helping investors “to try and locate the most promising projects by recommending the most voted projects”, and smoothing workflows inside the application. Second, a token layer, “the second feature of our application is the tokenomics part, whereby each and every idea that is generated, it gets to have its own unique identity token”, which is how an investor funds a project and how they get “their equity or or their share value” back out.
The ask is short. AI agent experts and tokenomics experts, then “grants and uh investors who are interested in the intersection of AI and crypto”. The nearer commitment is tokenization this week, with the AI agent workflows to follow. Then a thank you, and the tape ends.
