Answers What made you smile today? and If you could ask people around the world one question, what would you ask them?, see how other cities answered

The question of the week, put to a reader in Denver: what is something that made you smile today? “I built a bookcase today and organized all my books, which is nice, including my apartment.” He reads history, “and then also like horror stories, kind of anthologies.” His author: “H.P. Lovecraft is one of them. That’s kind of a cliche.”

Anthologies, Maceo offers, “are like the whole archive of a subject, you know, that’s like what an anthology is.” He used to write, “more than now,” and has nowhere yet to send people, so Maceo makes the offer anyway: “if there was, I want you to be able to plug yourself since you were generous.” Maceo’s last question is the one the archive asks everyone: if you could ask people around the world one question next week, what would it be? His answer: “just like how you can make somebody’s day a little better, maybe.”
