The $100 weekly video journalism contest, explained.
One minute of Maceo to camera, the fullest explanation on tape of the weekly contest that ran through spring 2026. “we’ve been doing these weekly video bounties, video journalism, people that can go out and shoot videos, asking people our weekly question. And we have $100 for our favorite one, myself and Kenny, founder of poidh.” The name, he says, stands for pics or it didn’t happen, “It’s poidh.xyz, you can check it out.”
The questions so far, in his list: “is the internet spreading misinformation and information to what is Ethereum, to last week what’s the most important issue in the world, and right now, you know, what’s something to make you smile.” Each of those is a question page on this site, with every answer that came in.
Why he is making it: “I’m trying to take more short form clips because they do better on YouTube and I guess everywhere.” And what it has done for him: “It’s honestly been such a sick experiment, I’m so grateful that we’ve been doing this,” and “it’s really re-inspired me, it keeps shooting content, so if you see this, I hope you participate.” The transcript below is from the original audio.
