To quote this piece: Jeff, “A traveler on Denver, graffiti and AI,” We Them Media, filmed 2026-03-05, https://wethem.xyz/watch/a-strippers-take-on-denver-denver. Each transcript line links to its second.

Four and a half minutes on a Denver street with a man who is passing through, filmed with nothing agreed in advance. “We’re just talking about whatever you want to talk about”, the correspondent tells him, and the first thing he picks up is AI.

He is not impressed by it. “I think AI is already being misused”, he says, and what is on offer is not the thing it is sold as: “it’s not real AI anyways. It’s just a giant compendium right now”, siphoning information and placing markers where it is at. Asked who can trust it, he widens the question to “Who can trust anything?” His own test is older than the software: “know yourself before you can know another”, and “How you feel about something, you should know by now if they’re lying to you.”

He has stepped out of the machinery himself. “I haven’t had a phone in about 2 years”, he says. “I’ve been traveling around doing some stuff, checking stuff out. I’m from Montana originally”, and “Grew up in Wyoming and then came from Portland.”

Asked whether he likes it here he starts with a complaint, “Absolutely not. You guys drive like shit, you greenies”, then licenses it, “I’m from Wyoming, so I can say that.” It does not last a breath. “I love Denver. Denver’s an interesting place”, he says, and the case he makes is a landscape one: “It’s got really great trees and plant system going on here”, and “It’s in the middle of like a bowl of mountains but it’s not really the mountains.” The one thing he holds against the city is inherited weather, “you still get that Wyoming blow-off”, from a state where “up there’s like 90-mile-an-hour winds”.

He chooses the next subject himself. “Yeah, let’s talk about the graffiti scene you guys got here.” On the art he is generous and unsentimental in the same sentence: “graffiti is an amazing thing. Life imitates art imitates life”, then “I think some graffiti sucks, but we all know that.” He guesses “I think there might be a couple Banksys here, which is crazy”, and then undercuts it, since he also knows a man selling prints he would not vouch for.

Glass carries the last stretch, and a friend up in Montana who “goes from having a bag of pipes to completely having 2 shops and a limit”. At the sign-off he gives his name as Jeff, gives a handle he warns is adult content, and says what he does for work.

0:05Jeff Cretta: Oh dude, I’m good.

0:06A: All right.

0:07Jeff Cretta: I don’t know, like what’s going on?

0:09A: Talk about you and talk about what’s going on in the world. You talk about crypto AI. Talk about whatever you want. Well, I, I was asking people what they think about AI. Do they use AI? Do they hate AI? Do they love AI?

0:19Jeff Cretta: Uh, I think AI is already being misused. Everybody’s put so much into it. It’s not going to be AI. And everything I’ve seen about it, it’s not real AI anyways. It’s just a giant compendium right now. It’s, it’s siphoning all the information, placing markers where it’s at, and coming back to it when it can. And when --

0:38A: Who can trust it?

0:39Jeff Cretta: Who can trust anything?

0:40A: Of course.

0:41Jeff Cretta: On that note --

0:42A: I can’t have an opinion. I’m the reporter.

0:43Jeff Cretta: Well, on that note, um, you know, know yourself before you can know another.

0:47A: Yeah.

0:48Jeff Cretta: How you feel about something, you should know by now if they’re lying to you.

0:51A: Yeah.

0:51Jeff Cretta: We all know.

0:53A: Like, sometimes people use the AI and they think more like the You know, I don’t text people right now.

1:00Jeff Cretta: I haven’t had a phone in about 2 years.

1:01A: Okay.

1:02Jeff Cretta: Uh, I’ve been traveling around doing some stuff, checking stuff out. I’m from Montana originally.

1:06A: Yeah.

1:07Jeff Cretta: Grew up in Wyoming and then came from Portland.

1:09A: So you like it here?

1:13Jeff Cretta: Absolutely not. You guys drive like shit, you greenies.

1:16A: I try.

1:16Jeff Cretta: I’m from Wyoming, so I can say that.

1:17A: I’m from East Coast.

1:18Jeff Cretta: No, you guys are fine. Uh, I love Denver. Denver’s an interesting place. It’s got really great trees and plant system going on here. It’s in the middle of like a bowl of mountains but it’s not really the mountains. And then you still get that Wyoming blow-off. It is terrible. If anybody’s ever been up to Wyoming, you know up there’s like 90-mile-an-hour winds.

1:42A: All right. Well, you wanna talk about anything else?

1:48Jeff Cretta: Yeah, let’s talk about the graffiti scene you guys got here.

1:50A: Graffiti? All right.

1:51Jeff Cretta: How long have you been here?

1:53A: Well, 15 years Boulder and Denver. Yeah, so I like the graffiti. I don’t know much about it.

1:58Jeff Cretta: Don’t lie to me. I don’t know what I’m looking at.

2:01A: Years. Yeah, yeah, I see a lot of graffiti, but I don’t know like who made the tags, and I don’t know.

2:05Jeff Cretta: Oh, I get what you’re saying. Yeah, you don’t know the person, but you see a lot of the art.

2:09A: I’m an artist.

2:09Jeff Cretta: I understand it’s art. Right, right. Um, graffiti is an amazing thing. Life imitates art imitates life. Uh, I think some graffiti sucks, but we all know that.

2:20A: Are you a graffiti artist?

2:22Jeff Cretta: Me? No, I’ve never done that before in my life, ever. I just got in trouble for it the other day.

2:28A: You -- dude, he’s pretty good. He had me going. Uh, okay, well, what do you think about the graffiti scene around here?

2:34Jeff Cretta: I think there might be a couple Banksys here, which is crazy. Oh yeah, but I also know --

2:40A: crazy.

2:40Jeff Cretta: Yeah, well, I also know a cat that he sells mid to high-end Banksy prints and He’s a slough off, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re copies. But the way you’re smiling at me --

2:53A: I don’t know, I’m just --

2:54Jeff Cretta: I don’t know, the way you’re smiling.

2:55A: I’m literally just smiling because I’m enjoying what you’re saying. Are you? Okay. And I’m -- I took a dab before, so --

3:00Jeff Cretta: Oh shit, dude, what type of dab?

3:02A: Just a dab off my buddy’s rig.

3:04Jeff Cretta: I know, but what?

3:05A: Oh, uh, sativa. Oh, like, I -- you ever hear LaserCat? Uh, 710 Labs?

3:10Jeff Cretta: No, I barely have heard of them, but I just got --

3:12A: I’m a glass artist. Look at my shirt. Look at the back of my shirt.

3:13Jeff Cretta: Joe Peters.

3:15A: Are you the one that does the holograms in your stuff? Well, I can do some opals and crushed opals and stuff.

3:21Jeff Cretta: Okay, okay, that’s cool, that’s cool. I dig that.

3:23A: So you know about heady glass?

3:24Jeff Cretta: I know a little bit about heady glass.

3:26A: Hell yeah.

3:26Jeff Cretta: Um, I got a buddy up in Montana, he owns Montana Glass 420.

3:30A: All right, I’m gonna have to sell him some glass.

3:32Jeff Cretta: Oh yeah, definitely hit his ass up. When I last talked to him, he had gotten fired -- or not fired, but he -- they kicked him out of his space. They just kind of bullied him out of his space and shit. And he was like, ah, he’s a much better pipe blower than they were, and it showed. Uh, he was walking around stressed at that limit of his life, like either do something or don’t.

3:53A: Yeah.

3:53Jeff Cretta: And this cat turns around, he goes from having a bag of pipes to completely having 2 shops and a limit. I was like, holy fuck, good guy.

4:04A: From a crumb to a brick. All right, well, you want to shout your name out or any Insta, socials, anything like that?

4:12Jeff Cretta: Uh, again, I’m Jeff Cretta. Uh, zero, uh, zero_inx_inc. Uh, be careful, that is all like -- it’s adult content there. I am a male stripper.

4:25A: All right, all right. Well, nice to meet you. Good luck on your stripping career, buddy.

4:29Jeff Cretta: You guys get a card?

4:30A: Uh, no, uh, We Them Media. What?
