1:30AOkay, what do you feel like is the biggest difference between here and Shanghai?

1:33CI’m sorry?

1:33AWhat do you think is the biggest difference between here and Shanghai? Like Denver specifically, from what you’ve seen at a glance, I guess you would say. It’s small. Yeah, yeah, this is not a real city.

1:43BWhere is a real city?

1:46ALike New York, I feel like you go to LA, it’s a way bigger city. This is like, this is the whole city.

1:52COh, okay.

1:53AYou know, it’s like, like these are the tall buildings.

1:55BAll you can see?

1:57AYeah, yeah, this is the middle of the city as far as I’m concerned. So I don’t like that. I feel like New York is like 7 or 8 or 9 of these, like kind of connected. Where are you from? Philadelphia on the East Coast.

2:07CPhiladelphia? And you are here for?

2:09AYeah, I came out here for a tech conference like 5 weeks ago. And I just kind of been. Yeah, yeah, I did. But I drove here and my car broke down. And so, and yeah, I was kind of broke. And my friends said I could hang out. And they’re in crypto with me and making content too somewhat. So they said I can move in. I’m like, okay. If I were at home, I’d be a lot more isolated and working by myself, just like smoking weed on my laptop.

3:39BI used to be still.

3:40AOkay, that’s cool, that’s cool. What’s like -- you went to medical school in China?

3:44BYeah.

3:45AWhat’s like the medical school -- is it similar to here in the US, the timeline to become a doctor? I feel like it’s like a 10-year process here in the US to become a doctor. Like, uh, similar, similar. Oh, okay, okay.

3:56CKind of. It’s a long way, always.

3:58BUniversity and postgraduate and doctor.

4:02AOkay, yeah, my girlfriend, she’s in med school. She wants to be an OB-GYN in Nashville, Tennessee. And she’s -- I feel like I don’t even like to think about when she’ll be done school. She like finishes school, I think, in the spring, and then she starts rotations, and then she has residency, and then she’s a doctor. I think that she’s taking her practice -- she took her practice test, I think, for that today, and she has to get a good score on that to get into a cool place for her rotations. Or no, no, it’s for her -- the one afterwards. Yeah, yeah, that’ll -- that will definitely make her smile. She was stressed when I talked to her this morning. Oh yeah. And what about you? What’s something that’s made you smile? I appreciate you guys letting me interview you.

5:54AYeah, I’m gonna try and keep it organized. I’m coming to China soon. I, um, I was in Thailand in 2024 for like this music festival, and I met these, these 2 girls from Shanghai. No, you must come to Shanghai. I’m like, okay. They kind of sold me on that it’s better than -- I don’t really have any take on China, but I don’t know anybody in China, so it feels kind of like I’m just gonna go to China.

6:14BThis year or?

6:15AI like to go to India this year. There’s like a big crypto conference in India I want to go to. And I traveled a lot over the last couple years. I was in Thailand, I was in Vietnam for a little bit. I was in Japan for a month in 2024. Did you go to Taiwan? Not Taiwan. I like to go to Taiwan. I have a friend who’s Taiwanese and Chinese, but no, I was in Thailand for a month. But I was around a lot of American people. Like, it’s not -- I feel like it wasn’t very immersive culturally. But I spent a couple months in Africa last year as well. I was there for 4 months, which was cool. And now I’m back here trying to figure out what I’m doing with my life and having fun with this camera.

7:09ACan you say it in Mandarin? You’re speaking to people who speak Mandarin now on my YouTube. That’s kind of my goal is to have different people speaking to each other, even if I don’t know. It’s not like you’re not speaking to me, if that makes sense.
