0:00A: Journal. I play bass a lot.
0:02B: Oh yeah, you’re talking about jamming. You’re sick at the bass, huh?
0:06A: Oh my gosh, me and the bass. Okay, that’s my release.
0:09B: Maybe you’re gonna bring something to our soundtracks too. Sick bass line on the soundtrack. Yeah, I like that.
0:14A: I’m a girl, man.
0:15B: I like that.
0:16A: But no, I’m just like truly at a point in my life where I’m just making art for me and I don’t give a fuck. Like, I don’t even care to even share it on my Instagram anymore. Like, a couple weeks ago I did this I went on a solo camping trip where I went to Walden, Colorado, and took over 1,000 pictures. Some of the best pictures I’ve ever taken in my life. And I’m so proud of them, but I have no desire to post them anywhere. I truly don’t. I don’t care. They’re for me. I was there. It’s a way for me to remember those times. Because again, we see 24 frames per second. How am I supposed to remember every single frame? So I took those pictures for me, not to get some artificial likes on Instagram, not to get my thumbs up or my comments like, wow, Kayl, this is so cool.
1:01B: Sure.
1:02A: I’m like, I don’t fucking care what you think. I mean, it’s cool that you think it’s cool, but I truly like -- I took these pictures for me to look back on. And yeah, I’m just -- I’m creating art for me, and I truly, I do not give a fuck, as Ambrose from King Gizzy says. I don’t give a fuck.
1:23B: It’s the year of the fire horse.
1:24A: Yeah, yeah, and I I do feel like I’m on fire. Not so much right now.
1:30B: This girl is on fire.
1:33A: Hey Katy Perry. Is that Katy Perry? That might not be Katy Perry. It doesn’t matter.
1:40B: Yeah, yeah.
1:41A: But anyway, I just yeah.
1:42B: I was going like Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar.
1:45A: Yeah.
1:46B: I was like that’s not it either.
1:47A: Yeah, it’s no. Nah nah nah nah. Um, yeah, if you want to help, for sure, I’d appreciate that. Uh, but yeah, I’m just like, create art for you, man. Like, fuck what other people think. If you want to make something, make it, okay? Just do it. If you think -- if you think --
2:07B: Do it.
2:08A: First of all, first of all, stop thinking, okay? Just do it.
2:12B: Do it.
2:12A: Because that’s the thing about like creating. You creating Is meditation, in a way, where you’ve completely lost all -- not lost, but there’s no thoughts. You’re living in the no-conscious, subconscious. There’s no thoughts. You’re not living in the past, you’re not living in the future, just living in the now. And you’re flowing, man. And just let that shit flow. And sometimes, you know, you’re going to, like, be sketching, and all of a sudden it’s going to feel like a little rigid or whatever. And the universe -- that’s the universe telling you something, that something’s not right, okay? That’s your signal right there, like, hey, I’m doing something different.
2:12A: Maybe that means, you know, get up, do a spin, do a jumping jack, shake up, shake something off. Um, but you just -- you gotta listen to the universe. You gotta listen to your body, your mind. There are signs around us everywhere. And yeah, I just, I just, I think we’re living in an age where people aren’t creating as much. And it’s scary to see. But it also, you know, I’m really, I am happy with how people are reacting to AI and calling it slop. Because it really is, it’s AI slop. And I think we are in an age for a renaissance. where people are gonna be like -- we’re so excited to see what people actually create.
2:12A: Like, it was cool to see what AI could do, you know, for a little bit, but now we’re getting to a point where it’s like, oh shit, y’all, we’re becoming robots. We’re all becoming one.
3:51B: Yeah.
3:51A: Like, what can we do now? So I think we’re about to see a big resurgence in just like people making shit. Just shit. Just make shit, man. Like truly just make shit.
4:04B: Okay.
4:05A: Even if it is like not what you pictured in your mind, you’re gonna create something that you’re gonna use later, you know? Like I look back on my old sketchbooks and I’m like, oh my gosh, I’ve seen this little doodle like later on my -- later on in my sketchbooks. Like I just -- everything is connected and I really wish I had better words for Right now, but --
4:30B: You’re killing it.
4:30A: It’s starting to affect me, and I’m getting a little -- yeah, just like wanting to create now. Hey, man, just fucking play the bass, fucking sketch your heart out, fucking write, fucking journal. Just like do shit, man. And if you feel like scrolling on your phone for a couple hours, You know, I’m gonna even encourage that. Do it, ’cause you’re gonna see something that’s not --
4:59B: Get inspired.
5:00A: Yeah, it’s gonna inspire you. You’re gonna see other artists, and it’s gonna come back in your life. It really is. It always does. Life is very cyclical and --
5:10B: Discursive. So I have a question. If you could ask the world one question, what would you ask?
5:15A: If I could ask the world one question, what would I ask? Oh fuck, what would I ask the world? Um, hang on, I gotta, I gotta, I gotta -- see, that’s, that’s my go-to.
5:33B: Yeah, but go for it, like, it’s cool. It’s just like, it could be whatever. Uh, the thing is that others, other people like me get to pick your question and be like, I’m gonna ask that. So it’s like you’re, you’re the inspiration for them when they go out and ask the questions, because now they can, they can throw questions together and be like This is my my profile on somebody. What’s your favorite Lego brick? Who are you and your management? Watch it.
5:54A: Fuck, this is okay. Um, what would I ask the world? I would just ask. Hey, are we? Are you? You know, honestly, I would just ask the world, how are you doing? Like honestly, like I think we don’t we don’t respect. this planet as much as we should, and we take it for granted for sure. And here’s the thing, like, you, you gotta love yourself before you can love others. And once you get to there, then you can give love to the universe. But if you just spew hate, hate, hate, hate, you’re gonna make the world hate you as well.
6:36B: Hell yeah.
6:36A: You don’t want that. So just ask the universe, how are you doing? You know, and she will tell you. Or them, they, he, she, we, they, fee.
6:45B: I love the direction you took it. Like, normally it’s like questions that we would ask people. Like, I’m asking you the question, right? Like, what would we ask you? And they’re like, the people in different places. But you’re like, no, we’re gonna ask the planet. We’re gonna ask the universe.
6:54A: Like, ’cause she --
6:55B: Ask existence.
6:56A: She does. Like, you really -- you just have to wait and listen. I’m so serious, y’all. Like, I might sound so weird.
7:02B: Do the DMT and let the universe orgasm in your brain.
7:05A: No, truly, like, you just, like, you know, I could ask the universe this right now, like, how you doing? And I could sit here, but to be honest, I don’t think I can listen to you right now, universe.
7:13B: Cold.
7:14A: My teeth chatter.
7:16B: Um, well, we should, we should go, we should go.
7:18A: Yeah, ask the universe when you’re feeling good about you and yourself and everything around you. Ask the universe how she do -- how she’s doing.
7:25B: You’re the universe.
7:27A: You know, she sometimes she’s angry, and, um, I’ve seen it. I’ve seen it before. You know, when I start to feel angry, she gets angry too. You get the lightning strikes and the rumble of the wind. She’ll let you know. So, you know, just be sure to ask the universe, how are you doing, from time to time. It’s a very important question.
7:49B: Play more Roblox.
7:49A: I’m more of a Minecraft gal myself.
7:52B: Me too. I’m a Minecraft gal.
7:55A: Do what makes you happy. And if you want to smoke that cigarette, smoke that fucking cigarette, man. I wish I had another one, but I fucking just smoked my last one.
8:03B: I think when I’m shooting content, I just need to carry a pack of cigs. Like, you want a cigarette?
8:08A: I even have like the tin can and everything.
8:10B: Yeah, that’s pretty sick. American Spirits tin can. I haven’t seen that. You see this?
8:15A: I even got the matching lighter.
8:18B: Wow, with the outfit on. But thank you. Can we say booyah? I like to say booyah at the end of our content.
8:26A: Booyah. Can I? Yeah, I mean, I’ll say booyah, but can I offer another word?
8:32B: Yeah, sure.
8:32A: Since we’re at a King Gizzy meetup, there’s only one word you can say, and that’s woo! Woo! Booyah, motherfuckers! Booyah! Love the universe.
8:48B: Love everyone. Love the
