The last day of ETHConf, and an $8,000 airdrop.
Bushwick, Brooklyn, at the end of the ETHConf week in June 2026, Maceo to camera in a public radio shirt. “Today was the last day at ETHConf here in Manhattan,” and, of the day job, “We’re out here fundraising for public media. That’s the real deal.”
Then the origin, said in one line and with a number attached for the only time on the channel: “Got an $8,000 airdrop that set me on a whole new path, a whole new life been around the globe.” That is the ENS airdrop he describes elsewhere as the reason the podcast started.
The rest is the team, by name: the editors already looking at the week’s footage, and Isaac, “who shot with me in Manhattan this weekend” and in Times Square, “talking to people about what their most controversial opinion was.” What he says about it is the part worth keeping: “I’m so, so, so excited about what my community has been up to, what my team has been up to.” The transcript below is from the original audio.
