In line for Kai Cenat’s Streamer University auditions in New York, two IRL streamers, one on camera and one behind it, are doing this for their mothers. One of them shared a room with a parent for eighteen years and just got a place of their own, and their editor is a friend who works for free. Then a creator from Ghana who lives in the Bronx looks down the line and counts no hijabis in it. The creator wore burgundy for Streamer University and Ghana’s colors for home, and if getting in happens, the point is for everyone who wears a hijab to see it.

Filmed in June 2026. The transcript below is from the original audio.

3:02Tonkwa: It’ll mean a lot. Like, I want the experience, of course. Uh, I’d rather be famous than be rich, if that makes sense. But if I could get both, I’d be happy too.

3:09JY Got: Why you wanna be famous?

3:11A: You want influence?

3:13Tonkwa: Yeah, I feel like I want to influence a lot of people. I got a lot to share out to the world.
