Second place on her second hackathon.
One of the second-place winners of the ETHAccra hackathon, and the interviewer wants that noticed: “can you imagine, it’s actually a lady. So if you’re a lady out there, please get me to the crypto space.”
Her account of how she got here is the whole point. “I remember my first interaction with blockchain was coming to” ETHAccra the year before, “and I don’t know how a hackathon is. I just appeared and decided to be part of it.” This is only her second. The interviewer draws the lesson out loud: “that is why you don’t have to limit yourself. You have to be out there, explore.”
On winning: “I feel very proud because actually I had affirmed that we’re going to win big and I kept that belief.” She names the build and the teammate at the end: the Enroute app, with a team member she credits by name.
