The convener of ETHAccra on the third edition.

Accra, September 2025, at the close of the third ETHAccra, with the person who convened it. She introduces herself: “I’m the founder of” the event, and “I successfully hosted the third edition,” exhausted and happy, because “it was by far exceeded expectation numbers people came from far near and far it was buzzing.”

Was this year better than the last? “each year is a success but this year was really buzzing.” The evidence is the buses. “we had two buses for coming from Lagos, people from Kaduna, Close, Port Harcourt, many people from Togo, Benin,” and the way she reads it: “It was all around West Africa. It was really, really a movement.”

Then her own way in. “honestly, I’m a curious person,” who found the ecosystem in 2021, “During the pandemic, I discovered it and I discovered Hackathon and that I think I fell down the crypto rabbit hole.” On being a woman in a male-dominated field she reaches for football, Arsenal, and says “I used to be in male-dominating field, but I’m not intimidated by it, I just follow my heart and my passion.” The proof she offers is the room: “this year was by far the most amount of women came So that means I’m doing something right, I have an all-female team.” Her message: “if you’re a woman out there, you have to come to the crypto space, it’s welcoming.”

Then the sign-off test the whole ETHAccra set runs on, spelling booyah, which almost nobody gets right. The first piece the network has filed from Ghana. Names are as the channel titled the pieces when they were published; where the transcript heard something different, this page says so rather than choosing. The transcript below is from the original audio.
