0:09C: Yes.

0:09A: I’m from Alabama.

0:11B: Okay.

0:12D: Like, is it like this in Alabama?

0:14A: No.

0:16D: What’s the biggest difference?

0:18A: Well, it’s humid there. Lots of trees and humid.

0:22C: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

0:23D: There’s not a lot of water here. That’s what I’ve been hearing.

0:24A: Yeah, it’s dry.

0:27B: Yeah, I hear that.

0:27A: I love it here.

0:28D: Okay, sick. Well, I’ve been going around doing these video interviews I had like a podcast for a while I was doing, and I’m trying to like pivot into doing something that feels just like more organic and like more fun is what I would say. And so I’ve been going out and asking people questions, trying to learn more about Denver. And now I’m actually partnered up with this other platform, it’s called Pics or It Didn’t Happen, and they put up like a weekly video journalism bounty where people can earn $100 for going out and like asking the week’s question. And we pick our favorite submissions. So I’m just like going out to keep building hype every day, like, you know, keep morale high, keep shooters outside.

1:01B: And this week’s question is, what’s something that you smile this week?

1:05A: Okay, I can start.

1:07B: Yeah.

1:08A: Uh, something that made me smile this week is my dog.

1:10D: Okay.

1:11A: Every morning he jumps up in the bed and like wags his tail. He’s like so excited to see me wake up, so that made me smile.

1:20B: Hell yeah.

1:21E: I think what made me really smile this week is I went to an open stage drag show called Alchemize with my 2 partners and went and got to watch drag performers debut and poetry and singing.

1:33A: Like, it was a Variety shows.

1:36F: I think that’s what really made me smile this week.

1:39D: Tell us more, tell us more, tell us more.

1:40E: Well, they’re -- well, it’s hosted by The Fiasco.

1:43F: They are a drag king, and it’s -- it is drag king, like, national drag king week, by the way.

1:48D: Oh, is it?

1:48E: Yes, it is.

1:49D: News, news.

1:50E: We love stuff that’s hosted by drag kings. So they put together this show. It can be drag, it can be poetry, singing, like, literally whatever you want to do.

1:57F: Like, they are just supporting performance art, and it’s really, really cool.

2:00E: They do it monthly, and I actually had not made it to it before.

2:04F: I had helped set up stuff for it, or like, like, helped out people with their numbers for it, but I’ve never actually gotten to go myself.

2:10B: So it was really, really fun to get to go with the family.

2:13D: And wait, a drag king is like the drag queen but the inverse?

2:16E: Yeah, yes, exactly. And you know, there’s a lot in between and everything, but that’s the general concept.

2:20B: Okay, but yeah, okay, cool, cool, cool. Go ahead. What made you smile?

2:26C: What made me smile this week was playing, uh, Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the Nintendo Switch with my beautiful fiancée right here.

2:34D: Okay, congrats, that’s super sick.
