The $500 bounty that paid for all of this.

Forty seconds, recorded a week before Bitcoin Pizza Day 2026, putting up more than five hundred dollars for anyone anywhere who would go out and document it. This is the call that produced everything else in this project.

The reasoning is stated plainly: “Every year Bitcoin Pizza Day happens. People from around the world come together in the crypto community. We eat pizza, we vibe, we chill out, we talk about crypto, we talk about non-crypto. And I think it’s one of the most interesting things that we don’t see enough content come out of every year.”

So the invitation went out to content creators anywhere, to “come out, shoot content, document the scenes” and put their best foot forward.

What came back was sixteen pieces from three cities: Philadelphia, shot by Maceo under his Pizza DAO name, Pepperoni Lupin; Lorah in Abuja; and Kafani in Lagos with a fifty-two minute street series. The bounty finished at $560 across twenty-three backers.

Worth watching as the smallest possible statement of how this network operates. Nobody was hired. A question and a prize went up, two people in two other countries decided to answer it, and the person who posted it went out and shot the third city himself.
