A DJ who moved to Denver to “build out my network in the base capital,” as he puts it, on how the year has gone. His buddy runs Bass Bingo at Larimer Lounge and “gave me a residency there,” about nine months of it, and then he “started getting booked on your shows after that.” Then a bigger room: “open for Heritage at Cervantes.” He had just come back from Austin, Texas, with Zingara and Level Up at the Concourse Project, on the two acts’ Parallel Spirits tour: “biggest room I ever played.”

The plan from here is home. “I’d really like to get back to my home state of Florida, you know, play around in Miami.” Maceo’s verdict on Miami: “That’s my favorite city in the States.”
