0:00 Oh, sorry. Hello, can I hear you? So, what's interesting about magic is, like, I got into crypto because, like, to me, technology is also magic. So, I've been doing, I was like a professional magician for, like, ten years and then I found crypto and I was like, this is really, really cool. So, hopefully, we'll do one of the craziest card tricks that you'll ever see. Anybody seen card tricks by a show of hands? Yeah, you've seen card tricks? Everybody's seen card tricks, right? But you probably have not seen this one. This is one of the most difficult card tricks I know. And we'll try just with this second playing cards, OK?

0:46 So we'll shuffle. These are like real shuffles, right? OK, we'll confirm. OK, we'll shuffle like this. Nicole, you're going to help me select a bunch of playing cards, So, I'm going to run through cards like this, and Nicole just say stop whenever you're OK. Right there? OK. Nicole, take a playing card. Take a playing card. This is a really good presentation. Take a playing card. Take a playing card. Take a playing card. Take a playing card. Hi. Are you busy, or do you want to? OK. Take a playing card. OK. Take a playing card. Take a playing card. Take a playing card. Jan, hello. Take a playing card.

1:25 I think we actually have enough. Or, you have a playing card as well? OK. You just showed me your playing card, so that makes my life a little bit easier. Everybody, go ahead and memorize your playing cards. No magician does this. Usually, one person selects a playing card. The magician has to keep track of that one playing card. You can find it. End of trade, ta-da. We'll do it with 10. Nicole, you're thinking about the playing card. Place your card back. Well, place it back into the center. Place your card back. Yeah, memorize it. Memorize it. Nicole, you memorize it? Yes. Everybody memorize it? OK.

2:01 Place your card back, place your card back. We'll shuffle for a little bit. OK. Real shuffles, real shuffles. Just the last, somewhere in the deck. Place your card back, place your card back. You memorize your playing card, place your card back, place it back. We'll place your card back. We'll shuffle some more. This way. Place your card back. We'll place your card back. So we have 10 different playing cards selected by different people we shuffled, and we're going to try to find them in different ways. And that would be pretty cool if I could find at least two of them. And the probabilities are against me.

2:42 It'd be like 1 in 200 million chance if I could find all your playing cards, but we'll try. I shuffled. Oops. I lost track of like two. It's okay. 1652. Okay, awesome. We're going to try. Think about your playing card, think about whether it's red or black, that's a red card And then think about whether it's a heart or a dot, I'm going to guess it's a heart Yeah, is it a heart? Okay, think about whether it's an ace, a two, a three, a four Oh, you blinked, it's a three, hearts Yeah, it's a three hearts Okay, and now we have to just find it, right, and let's shuffle a deck

3:29 And I'd give it 90% probability that's 16 cards down All we have to do is we have to just cut 16 cards down and get one card in full of the three of hearts, ladies and gentlemen I'm going to take one guess, we're going to cut right about here Okay, tell me, yes or no, was the nine of diamonds you're playing for? Final guess No? It's okay It's on me, it's not you You selected, what card did you select? Ace of Spades The Knight of Diamonds? The Ace of Spades The Knight of Diamonds will become the Ace of Spades You see it? What happened? If you don't believe me, but now you should

4:31 become the Ace of Spades If you selected playing cards, raise your hand if you selected playing cards Okay, you're next, what is your name? Jonathan And I placed a deck right there And we found the first card, we found the A's, we found the three, and we're going to find your card, name your playing card out loud. Say it louder so everybody can hear you. Queen of spades. Queen of spades. Watch these two cards. The queen of spades will fly through the air, just like we teleported your card wherever you wanted, and it will land in between these two cards. Queen of spades, seven cards down, but now it's 16, that's 15, that's 14, that's

5:18 Zero Cards Down, because now it is right about here.

5:29 Have you seen Sled Hand before? What's your name? Chase. Chase. Chase, what is your playing card? One hand, I'm going to try to find your card with one hand. Seven of hearts. But not this hand. Not this hand. Five of spades. No. That's too easy. One hand isn't just on the other side of the box Do you feel like you have good intuition? One finger out just like this Just to the back of any playing card you want This one, this one, you sure? This one right here Don't take your eyes off it Name your playing card out loud Turn it over, it will always do it. Raise your hand if you select the playing cards. Well, I know we're running out of time, so we'll do this. Colin, name your playing card out loud. Seven diamonds. Name your playing card out loud. Four of clubs. Four of clubs, name your playing card out loud. Four of hearts, and name your playing card out loud. Four of diamonds.

7:03 OK, so here's something I learned from the circus. I was performing with people like from circus to light. This is someone who knew this. They learned this. Name me your playing card out loud. Seven of diamonds. OK, it flies through the air. That's why I'm not in the circus, because I would have caught it. But we found the seven of diamonds. That's why I'm in the circus. And we'll go like this. Name me your playing card out loud again. The four of clubs. Four of clubs. Name me your playing card out loud. Four of clubs. Four of Hearts, name your playing card out loud. Six of Clubs.

7:36 Six of Clubs, name your playing card out loud. Seven of Diamonds. Seven of Diamonds, and then four of Clubs. OK, we found your seven of Diamonds. There's four, four, six, four, four of Red, 17, 16, 42, and 32. OK, we'll find all of them. Watch this, very closely. We shuffled a bunch, we selected random playing cards, and now we find all of them. Four of Clubs, four of Hearts, four of Diamonds, six of Clubs, We shuffled, right? We selected a bunch of different playing cards, and we're in Belgium, of all places, so I don't even know if this works. But if you have your phone with you, open up your iPhone and go to, like, Dialpad. We're gonna write down a number.

8:31 Yeah, as if you were, like, gonna, like, yeah, sure. We just need to write down a number. OK, so to recap, once again, we shuffled. We selected a bunch of different playing cards. And now we're going to write down these cards that we all selected. So Nicole, you began by selecting a three, right? Yep. Three cards. Type in a three. And then you selected, what was it? It was an ace, right? Type in a one, because aces are like ones. and then you selected a queen. We can be creative and say that's like a zero, right? Like zero. And then you selected a seven. And then, hold on, you selected, oh, OK, ace, one.

9:25 And then, colon, right? Seven. Seven. Type in a seven. And then four. And then four of hearts. And then six. And then four of diamonds. Hit Call, we're in Europe, so I don't know if our cellular works. Hit Call. 4464 No, no, uh, are you like... We're from Belgium. Okay, just hit Call. Oh yeah, I get a song from Tampa, Florida. Wow. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He's in Brussels, so he's also just a very close friend of the story on the SPC, so yeah, don't give a whole shoutout on Twitter Thank you for having me do some magic
