0:01Is there like a sub-genre of like EDM or dance music that appeals to you the most? A sub-genre? Man, I don’t know. I kind of like don’t really pay attention to that stuff. I kind of just like consume and like listen to music and create without thinking about like genres or anything like that, you know?

0:23But do you see sub-genres? Like I don’t really listen to like music honestly. Yeah, I mean, I think that, like, of course, if people were to, like, categorize my sound or, like, stuff that I’m into, I feel like it would be, like, wonky, like, space, bass, I guess, you know? Glitch, some glitch hop. I don’t know, man. It’s, it’s, there’s so many genres. There’s so many genres. And they continue to evolve. And, but I think that’s really cool because I think it just gives people more of a reason to, like, go in on what they love and find what they love, you know what I mean?

0:59So yeah it just like makes more space for little niches that people can connect with which I think is really really really cool for sure but yeah I’m definitely into that like wonky trippy shit melodic you know a little bit of everything but keeping it real with like live live music and stuff, live instruments, vocals, drums, like taking, you know, even using like hybrid drums or all electronic drums, it’s still like everything just is still you try to humanize it and like make it real. And I don’t know, dude. Yeah, so I think that’s just like the counterbalance to AI is holding on to whatever like little shreds that we have of like human humanity, you know, in like our own

1:52human-like experience which is not perfect so and I think that’s why people are still wanting to come to dance music and like connect and go to live shows and stuff like that that’s like that’s so huge so even though a lot of what we do is like really like lonely and kind of like isolated it also is It’s like, man, it’s worth all the work, you know, that goes into it, just to see people connect and have a good time, and yeah, dude, I think that’s what people really just want now, is they just want to connect with real people, get outside of their house, get back from behind their computers, and that’s what I think dance music has going for it right now.

2:44I think we should double down on the culture and like just build people up and like make it a safe space for everybody and like I think that also comes like educating new people to the scene on like how you know what I mean
