0:26So we’re going to do two pieces of mine and this first one is called Frame and it was named and conceived after I saw a documentary which featured Sting playing of all people, all composers, singing and playing music of John Dowland, which is a renaissance, English renaissance composer. and it was beautiful. And there was one quote that stuck with me, which was the origin of this song. And he said, music is a frame for silence. And I thought, OK, I’m going to try to frame silence in my own way.

Today we will perform a love story that is composed by an American composer, one of the leading composers of the 21st century, John V. Damien. And he composed this love story for the movie Star Wars, it’s called Across the Stars. And the second song that we perform is a Georgian folk dance by a Georgian composer Sohan Sinzade, it’s called Sachi Dao. Hope you enjoy.
