0:00I’m an engineer, I’m promoting certain aspects of my life that come with my artistry, but you’re not going to catch me doing certain things on IG just because it doesn’t make sense for me to do it. It’s like, we talked about it yesterday, like, I have success on my social media because I invest and then I know what people like seeing me do. So I just keep doing the shit that they like seeing me do. And what do they like seeing you do? Just fucking working. Everyone wants to watch a bum.
0:29And that’s the thing, you know what I’m saying? And a lot of bums are easily now mistaken as the motherfuckers making money because they’re making money look easy, you know what I’m saying? And people mistake making money looking easy for, oh I can make money easy too. Yeah.
0:50So that’s basically the synopsis for that. I’m going first.
0:59What do you think are the things that are important for music to evolve? Growth within oneself, that’s the first and foremost. If a person is not willing to grow for themselves, then they’re not going to fucking grow musically. They’re going to fucking suck. And you’re just going to be saying the same shit. And it’s going to probably be lame shit. Like if you’re not growing as a person, your music’s not going to grow. And that’s a true, honest reality. It’s not sad. It’s not angry. It’s just a true reality. And people don’t want to live without reality, which is why they’re like, Oh, I just do this for me, I just do this for fun. No, you don’t. You want to be successful in this. No, you want to be doing it. Every artist wants to be successful as a musician, but not every artist is willing to do what they have to do to be a successful artist.
