0:00Okay. So, tono, huh? Toncho. So, give us a little a little no beat freestyle. No beat freestyle. All right. Um, I’m walking on the turf. I came to this earth without nothing. Looking like I just want to be stunting. So, I get my crew and I tell them to come along. If they want it, then I might even put them in a song. But I got my dudes and they all looking rude, but you know that you want to get it and be part of the crew.
0:27I like that. And you know what it do? We’re out here with Trent and you know it’s the move. It’s the move. We moving. Looking like we grooving. Everybody want to do it, but I ain’t been pursuing nothing that you wanting cuz I got my own goals. Got my own dreams and my own hoes.
0:42So, what are we trying to accomplish this year? This year? [bleeped] man. I’ve been releasing all my music on YouTube. Uhhuh. And I think this year I’d like to actually make the jump to uh start playing it on some bigger uh streaming platforms like Spotify, things like that. Uh it’s uh it’s like it’s like friends and family, you know, so it’s a it’s a very small following right now, but after this weekend, uh I’m hoping that we can we can grow bigger, you know, like I said, like expand.
1:13So, what’s your message to those people like the friends and family who give a [bleeped] Oh man, I just like I really appreciate it. There’s not a lot of you guys out there, but just notice that I notice the [bleeped] and I really, really, really [bleeped] appreciate it, you know? I mean, I put the [bleeped] out there for everybody to see it. I don’t really care if anybody sees it, but the people that do see it, I [bleeped] I I really appreciate that [bleeped]
1:33Why is music important to you? Uh I mean, it’s just one of the things that we’re blessed in life to have. Uh it’s like a universal language. Uh some some of the best connections that I’ve had in life come from music, you know, and I think that’s a that’s a a strong strong thing that there there’s something that, you know, tangles all of our lives together and it’s something as simple as music. You know, all these people, we we all walk on the streets every day. We pass each other and we don’t give a [bleeped] about each other. But once we get into like a venue like this
2:07and we’re here and we’re [bleeped] banging our heads and we know that we’re relating because we [bleeped] we’re here for this [bleeped] We don’t give a [bleeped] about anything that’s going on in our lives, but you know, we’re here to just like let it out and that that’s I I just love everything about music. Everything about it.
2:24When did you know it was like a forever thing music for you? Like it’s not going anywhere. Like what would life be like without it?
2:33With life without music? I’ve definitely had that thought before. Um, and that there’s a kind of like a depressing thought, you know. So, if anybody’s ever like down in the dumps just I mean I’ve been there plenty of times. Uh, throw on that track, you know. One of the ones for me is um Pink Floyd, Comfortably Numb. I could like listen to that song anytime and like get out of any feel. Well, not even like get out of the fields, but like get into the fields and feel the feels and then, you know, like this is just a normal part of life. the lows are going to come, the highs are
3:03going to come, and you know that like music can get you out of any headsp space that you want, and there’s just so much [bleeped] that you can relate to from what other people have been through. And we’re all here experiencing the same [bleeped] just from a different, you know, lens. And I think I think there’s something more to that. And I think music is a great thing that like really just glues us all together.
3:26Oh, yeah.
