0:00So, can you show the the guy? Let’s see. So, can you tell them what you won? Actually the um my team won uh the third position in the uh recent hackathon which was um which was uh organized by the pro fest and um unfortunately my teammates because this is a winning for me and my teammates where two you know because this is an hathon that has uh that based on team Some team has like four members. I think the was five members but luckily we me we are only two and surprisingly most of the team came with their teammates but but I and my teammates met

0:46at the hackathon. Nice. But I I was told that they made sure that every team had a marketer and um a is it a marketer and a designer because they try to encourage every builder builders into the space as well. Yeah, this is why was too like how exactly did that work

1:07actually the way it works? No, you know sometimes that’s why they say nothing goes as waste. I would say before I was I was a UIUX designer.

1:16Oh amazing. I think about 2 years back uh thanks to one of the great uh creator in UIUX. I will give a credit to him. I think his name is Logic. He’s in Abuja. So he taught me UIUX. I think I did UIS for almost uh 6 months or so but then I just later on I felt I used Figma.

1:38Oh so so I I guide though. Wow. Wow. Wow. That’s really amazing. So so I took so after a while I just felt like the UIX uh industry is somehow saturated and I wanted to explore something that more difficult for people to learn. So I started uh learning blockchain using I think Alcam University resources.

2:01Okay. So basically it was just more like um we put in work but it’s more like a miracle that we want this. It’s not miracle. Trust me this is why I have extensive knowledge. It goes a long way. So you can see I I now have understanding of what’s going on. You are a technical and nontechnical program. So

2:20but congrats again on winning. And then for you like how was the experience of the whole the whole acathaton like how you experience the the experience was so inspiring because uh like what the founder said Mr. belongs the first I think the first word I held was that he said that we should not be intimidated because he knows that some of us here this is our first time at hackathon and there are some senior developers here so we shouldn’t feel intimidated by this the senior developers and we just give our best and we should ensure that we build something that works and something that solve uh problem I think that was

2:58what we leveraged on me and my teammates and and what’s like what’s the product like um the product is is is called Zampe. So actually it was it was brought up by me and my teammate because of I think the challenges we have which was which is most of the challenge which is most basically the challenge most insurance are facing which is transaction limit

3:21using this you know me and you know that using traditional bank um there’s limits to what you spend and then and then sometimes you have some people that want to deals with crypto and people that don’t want to deals with crypto. So our product is more like okay there’s a business or person that actually want to like sell his product but doesn’t want to deals with crypto and then the person that want to buy that as a buyer

3:48is a crypto savvy so and then you know the stress of like converting uh maybe earth to na or maybe yeah he can the the the buyer can just make payments using crypto using the zampe but at the end of the seller that’s the business owner he doesn’t he doesn’t get the money as receive it as a as a crypto we attract the the crypto part for him and he gets his own get his

4:31okay well I wish for the best net amazing but yeah we Actually, you know, actually we the product we actually did the product minutes. Oh, minutes

4:40during the during the the hackathon. We didn’t do it at test net. I would like to see how that works. But with that being said, yeah.

4:47Um, what’s your take now from all this? Like I think I think this is a great motivation for me and my teammates because I wish you was here. Um, because as we were talking, this was our first hacker talk we’ve ever attended. We have no experience but this has given me motivation and hope that yeah you can be anything.

5:10So what have you got to the viewers? Now what I can say to the viewers is that you should stay consistent. Um keep building and keep learning and hopefully your consistency will pay.
