0:01A: Seems like putting this in lower frames per second will be better for this SD card. Noted. But I was just saying, you know, the communication courses are about noticing where we feel confronted in communication, where our nervous system is maybe keeping us from feeling comfortable, confident, or self-assured, having like, you know, just being in touch with people. Maybe it’s about being confrontational. Maybe it’s about taking ownership and responsibility for something. Or maybe it’s just, you know, about acknowledging where we’ve disappointed others or ourselves. and navigating those conversations without shame, even when our body can be giving us the fight, flight, or freeze. So I, you know, I think that’s what I was just saying.

0:01A: One of the communication course leaders has spoken to really having the opportunity to slay dragons in these courses. And I know that really resonated with one of my participants a couple months ago. So I had the opportunity to share that with one of the coaches, that that could really make a difference with her and the person she was supporting in the course who had some people they were not feeling particularly motivated to be in touch with. It’s like this weekend is the opportunity to actually disappear the discomfort you might have ordinarily in your nervous system when it comes to having those kinds of conversations. And like, that’s what you paid for, is to be somebody who can have any kind of conversation at any point in time.

0:01A: And getting that it’s an access, an opportunity to resolve, restore, create new, and, you know, actually never be stopped again by a conversation. Your nervous system is now almost reprogrammed, right? And that the actually having those conversations and slaying those dragons is what brings a whole new level of -- I don’t know what dragon you’re talking about. agency, empowerment, a new kind of catharsis you’re probably not familiar with if you haven’t done that before. I know for me it’s definitely been, you know, remarkable to experience my nervous system just not doing stuff it used to do, which made me used to feel frustrated with myself or feel powerless in situations where I just felt so overwhelmed by conversations that felt so ordinary for other people.

0:01A: So yeah, I had to have that call in here at this Boulder Pho, but grateful that I’m in these -- in this Landmark course and that it’s overlapping with this life I’m living. Just another place I’ve had a -- I’ve had landmark calls all over the world in uncanny places. No, it’s another night like that, but definitely grateful to be --
