0:12AAnd that’s where I sort of entered into this. But I was very active. Like I said, I told you, I worked with Crusade for Justice. I worked with the Black Panthers. I worked with all the All the various organizations. I knew Jesse Jackson, I knew Malcolm X, I knew everybody. Okay? I’m an old fart.
0:35BYou said this was a continuation of the Chicano movement? And the Chicano movement, what was like the goal of the Chicano movement? What was the goal?
0:45ATo elevate the Chicano people and stop the discrimination and elevate them to an equal position in life. As a wife. That’s what the child was about.
