Okay. I've been doing a good amount of videos. I didn't get the pizza that I wanted. But, you know, it's been a good one So, my brother says My brother knows him, his wine doesn't suit He has his wine doesn't suit For Sam's own So, back in the day, he used to be a What's up, man? Good to see you It used to be Hello, hello

[3:48] This looks like an exit to me We're outside You're going to lock us all out? The Trojan horse

[4:24] Oh, let's go. All right, Maria's our photographer. Okay, pass out those signs. While we're passing out the signs and getting ready, you know it's Bitcoin Pizzaday.

[4:36] Everyone knows that story, right? Put your hand up if you don't know Bitcoin Pizzaday's story. Kinda know? Okay, it's like a billion dollars today for two pizzas. Pilot John's. We threw parties in 400 cities today across like 100 countries. There was a 24-hour live stream. I have a couple things I want to give away Okay, who knows the actual name of the dog That is in the meme The actual name

[5:12] That's the breed, what's the name?

[5:16] It's the breed, what's the name of the dog? Shibuki

[5:22] No, nobody knows. Nobody knows. Nobody knows. Nobody knows. We called it. All right. Hurry up. You're losing everyone. You're losing everyone. Okay. Who said Chiba first?

[5:36] All right. We're not going to do the throws. Okay. Put it on top of the top. We should put it on top of the top. We should put it on top of the top.

[5:57] This one goes to, okay, what is the guy's name who bought the two pizzas? Laszlo had a chance

[6:09] What is the guy's name who Laszlo gave the ten...

[6:18] Okay, okay, what kind of pizzas did he get? Papa John's! Domino's. Okay, all right, we'll take the Papa John's.

[6:30] I have a couple more prizes. Oh, a man of many prizes.

[6:38] This lighting is so horrid. Wait, what do we come out in the dark for? We should go like 10 feet that way. What's the song of this pin? We can't even see it. Your lighting is terrible. Nyon cat. It's a rainbow cat. How's the song, how's the song go? How's the song, how's the song go?

[6:58] Okay, I think you got it. I heard that. Okay, okay. It's na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na. You know? Okay. I think they're just, it's okay. All right, I have one more of those. I'll let you live. Okay, what is the name of the guy we can't see that in cat? Oh

[7:20] It is Chris actually Nyan cat

[7:33] All right

[7:40] all right we say cheese all right we don't say happy pizza day no we say cheese oh and let's do a video

[7:53] we're gonna say stand with crypto oh

[8:00] let's go birds i like that let's go can we say happy pizza day can we say happy pizza day

[8:18] That's right, that's right, that's right Let's go, one more time

[8:23] Three, two, one

[8:32] Thank you I like that, hype them up, I like that Call them out, you can't live tonight

[8:41] Staying with crypto

[8:45] But you know, I respect that you want to do the sponsor justice I can't, I can't, I can't fault you It's like, would not even go one pizza day? I said, not on my watch I like that, we're doing my YouTube justice We're doing my YouTube justice for sure It's good Thank you I feel pretty excited Sorry Your dog's cute

[9:11] Thanks man So how's your pizza night turned out? Pizza day? It's good It's one of the better pizza days that's happened here I think Hell yeah, hell yeah, hell yeah Anyone tell us how long you've been involved with the pizza day? Anyone give us your lore? Yeah, I think it's sort of in Clubhouse, right? No, I didn't have an iPhone So I could not be in that clubhouse The early days of exclusion Yeah, so I've known Snacks a few years before Pizza DAO That's cool So we were talking about crypto and NFTs and like all the stuff before this whole manifested itself But it was like the day after he was just like, yo, we got this thing called Pizza DAO, join the Discord

[9:55] I like that So I was in the Discord within like a few days of it manifesting itself in clubhouse I mean, but there would be no Snacks as we know them today if it weren't for you, so you're not a part of Pizza DAO's founding per se in that sense, but you're like a part of Snacks' crypto origin story Yeah, you could say that, yeah, that's pretty cool I like that, I got into crypto They really delved into the meta of what you could do with some of this stuff Do you have any other early day co-conspirators who were trying to understand the design space and crypto who you were looking at it with, or was it just you two?

[10:33] There is, I think, like, two other people involved Are they still on Pizza DAO?

[10:41] Maybe, that's a good question, I don't know That's okay, I was just asking You know, I got into crypto, my college roommate, he was, like, super into it Like, he'd been working and, like, banking before, the summer before And then he was up, like, 60k on doodles And he just, like, I just chased him to whatever alpha chats he was in Let me, like, nouns down and stuff like that, and shark down And then I found out about Pizza DAO after ETH Denver So, you know, but he's, like, one of my best friends and one of the first people I invited to my discord and stuff like that.

[11:05] So I feel like if we don't have people to talk to about crypto, you know, then we never get our big ideas. I actually heard about crypto during Silk Road days. During what days? Silk Road days. You know, Ross Ulbricht. Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Yep. Friends were using it, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I get that. For the original use case. But I never, ever would have predicted like Bitcoin to have any value. It's this thing you can monet that's kind of cool. But it was like in-game currency to you, right? No, it's just for drugs and terrorists. And it's like, no one's ever going to like, this is not going to be like a valuable thing

[11:39] anyone's going to like care about beyond that. Yeah, yeah. The fight against fiat wasn't clear to you yet?

[11:47] No, not really. No one would ever pitch it if anyone was just like, yo, we need to get drugs. How are we going to get, well, we need this thing called Bitcoin, all right? That's great. That was, you know. But now Bitcoin is the fight against fiat, yeah? That's debatable. Oh, okay, okay. Hit us with your take. Can we switch into the light? I mean Bitcoin is just part of Wall Street at this point Like Michael said You have I mean like Wall Street collapses They have like So much of a Bitcoin supply So much of it is owned by the US government And Wall Street that

[12:25] Like it will survive probably But like it will get wrecked It will get wrecked every bit as much As like Wall Street will get wrecked if like everything collapses. What do you think about Michael? I don't know that much about him. I've heard his pitch. It's a good pitch. Better than Pizza Dolls? Should we buy BTC or pizza boxes? Ooh, um, you need some, I don't know, like pizza backed box? I don't know. I like that. I like that. I like the idea of backing the pizza boxes as to start something new. I like that. Whoo, this guy's pitching hot takes Okay, I will say this

[13:07] Bitcoin has plateaued, the pizza boxes are like nothing right now We're at the bottom, we're at the bottom of pizza boxes There's a lot of opportunity I like that There's more risk, more opportunity I like that, I like that We're gonna go run on both snacks now

[13:26] What's up sir? Did you answer the RSVP with your preferences? No, I didn't

[13:32] I don't know, I didn't order the pizza, and he might have liked that She neither The AI wasn't quite ready to order the pizza this year, next year it will be It literally will order the pizza, it's close now, it just gets hung up on because it's an AI and they're like, uh, no I'm really excited to be a mom, so as a person who raised a snack, what was it like? What was it like? What was it like? It was a challenge It was a challenge not lying, it was a challenge. Let the world know. It's still a challenge. What was your developmental philosophy? Developmental? That's a good question. Will. There was no development involved. It was like, we didn't have a lot of choice. He was the agency. He took agency, right? Sam Wade 11-5. Let's start that. Sandy's right here. On arrival. Just start that. What does that do to a person, right?

[14:28] Yikes, that's a lot Well now he's out taking on the world I was pigeon-toed He's a wonderful He's my feet wearing the wrong feet So I had to wear my feet, my shoes in the wrong feet So I was talking to Jake And we were talking about Bitcoin being owned by Wall Street And I said, I got that So now we have foot on Bitcoin I said, so we're taking Bitcoin or pizza boxes And he said, we landed on it We're at the bottom for pizza boxes The second day, Sam was in the basket I was like, wait, my son's brilliant Yeah, you're welcome So yeah, Pizza Box or Bitcoin?

[15:04] Like Pizza Box Like am I buying pizza or keeping my Bitcoin? Oh my god, that's that baby Oh

[15:13] I don't know right now Like the upside on the I don't know dude I'm not a fan I have a lot of them I believe in it I bought a lot of them I'm not going to sell them either I'm going to give them to my friends I like that None of the people If you could see, like, I look at what, like, Pizza DAO is kind of like a movement, like, people who are caring about community. I think we don't have a lot of, like, crypto community facing events that really happen. Like I said, it's going to be a holiday. I feel like people that show up, I feel like when this is a conference, we don't really show up. And I know, I've met some people on Bitcoin Pizza Day, but I've never met at conferences. And I think that's, I think that's a really cool touch point for people. Like, there's Crypto Mondays, but I think this is bigger than Crypto Mondays. Absolutely, obviously, right? Yeah.

[15:53] And so I'm curious for you, like, how do you see yourself as someone who's been building, like, a movement, an international community opportunity for crypto? How do I see myself? Yeah, you're the, you're the, you're the, you're the clearing. This is Gargi. I am just, I'm just facilitating it. I am, I'm out there changing the tires on it. I'm maintaining it. I am, when somebody has a dispute, I am talking to them. I'm helping them to communicate. When someone loses a venue, I'm helping them to brainstorm. When we need new tech, I'm figuring it out. It's fun to have a mission and we have a very clear mission and that's to throw a global pizza party. It's relatively simple but it's also complex and there are a lot of moving parts and you can really make it as simple or as complex as you want.

[16:52] and we are gradually becoming more complex which is fun and there's yeah there's a lot to do even with something as simple as this so what's the learning curve been like for you from like discord moderator to global pizza party facilitator it's like uh it's like not it's not so different because I was already I was already making making a web series yeah yeah for years in South Philly. With South Philly now. And a lot of the skills when you are an organizer or a producer are kind of the same. And it's about communication with people, it's about being organized, knowing when you have to know the deadlines, like you have to know all of the reliances of the component parts, you know, so that you can hit the deadlines and everything winds up at the end.

[17:47] It's like three minutes to get out of here Alright, alright, I should go see how I can be helpful I think it's just about being a producer Being a producer, like if you want to learn how to organize people to do something, go make a film And that was your background already? Yeah

[18:03] So, okay, okay, okay Thank you for your time Let us hit us with a booyah and a happy pizza day Booyah, happy pizza day Let's go
