[0:03] But you are here for the show? Okay, hell yeah. Well, can I interview you? You're a fan enough to be outside, like, fucking it up. Let it be known.

[0:15] It's okay, you can sit. I'm gonna sit too. I'm all about the vibes. What's your name? I'm Alex. Alex, hell yeah. I'm Maceo. You're recording? Say it. Fuck yeah, shout out to Tim. Tim's a goat. Yeah, shout out Tim. Yeah, yeah, I've been the camera guy for a lot of people. Some people say you're afraid to be in front of that around you. That shit, right? Should I look at the camera or should I look at you? Look at me. Yeah, fuck the camera. Alright, alright. Fuck the camera. I hate the camera. Hell yeah. Get that shit out of here. I don't want the camera. So you're from Denver? I am... Okay, okay. So this is a long story. You found the right guy. You found the right guy. Okay, run it. Alright, so I'm on this spiritual mission, okay? So I've been traveling from... So I was born in Texas. I lived in Massachusetts for about a year. And then my life fell apart. So I started traveling the country, hitchhiking across the country. And...

[1:04] Really? Yeah. Hitchhiking, how's that? Good, I've been doing it for about five weeks now. I found myself in Denver about a week ago. I decided to settle here, try and make some money so I can keep going, you know. Okay, how's the hustling going? Not so good, I'll admit, so it's pretty desperate out here. I saw Andrew Colligan's show and I was like, damn, I want to go there, but I can't, so. What do you like about Andrew? What does he do right? What does he do right? Well, I haven't seen him since like three years ago but I just like how it's like semi-ironic like he's got the fire explosions and like all that shit and then he has the people like rap at the end and it's like I don't know I think it's cool how he interviews like homeless people and just like regular people you don't see that a lot with other interviewers or YouTubers or people they always interview like I don't know they don't interview like

[2:05] Just the regular folks and the crazy people. Do you remember when you first found out about Andrew? About? First encounter. Maybe like five years ago on YouTube. Uh-huh. Yeah. Remember which video was? Not a clue. I remember like the The sex convention one that was pretty funny. Yeah, that's funny You know I actually also saw him live three years ago in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on that same tour I saw Oh cool playing videos from the sex convention like during that thing I'm pretty sure oh I see I see if somebody in Pittsburgh for that show was in the talent show and also had been in that

[2:41] Video and so he pulled the video to show us specifically because somebody from that video was in the audience with this Oh, I see I see I think I beat them in the talent show Nice, that's cool, that's cool. Thank you. Thank you. What would you do? I freestyle with my friend. Okay, cool, cool so Why are y'all interviewing people is it like for Andrew or is it just like a personal thing? Nah, I don't worry about Andrew at all So it's just like a, y'all are like vlogging and stuff? Yeah, high key, honestly I have a platform called We Them Media And I've been doing content in the crypto space for a couple of years

[3:12] And interviewing black people working in crypto Trying to understand like what the fuck is this crypto shit about And I have a pretty good idea It's about inflation, it's about public goods It's about a lot of shit, but Inflation, yeah, that's a good one Yeah, that's like the primary one that it's about Yeah, for sure But you know, to even get that through line Most people don't have enough time to find the through line and that shit, they don't present it. It's not self-evident when you talk about crypto. But that aside, I've been around the globe over the last couple of years covering that stuff,

[3:36] and now I'm trying to evolve into a grassroots platform that's supporting people around the world and doing journalism, surfacing stories from different parts of the planet. So now you're just interviewing everyone. I interviewed a homeless guy last week. He spent an hour walking down the street. I bought him two beers at Circle K. Oh, nice. And I bought him two waters. We gave one of them away. I mean, I'm homeless. Where's my two beers? I just play, I just play. Now you can have a shot, though. I'm all good, I'm all good I'm just saying, you could But you don't have to be homeless, right?

[4:04] You could just say, I want a shot, and I would offer you a shot What is it? It's a good question, it's Jose Cuervo It was like 315 for the double shot Oh, I see, I see Two for five over on Colfax, though But what's it called?

[4:17] He's a man of the people But what do you feel like is a story in America We're not covering right now? Okay, so God is real

[4:28] Spirituality is is becoming something that is very very important right now and I think what people aren't noticing is that all these things are happening in the world right now are all due to spirituality and the influences certain people have over spirituality I don't know how to describe it but I will say over our communities of faith right is what you mean like people exerting their influence over their communities of faith yeah it's sort of like Is that what you mean? Or am I putting words in your mouth? I'm saying through God, people who have found God are able to influence the world in certain ways.

[5:15] And a lot of the things that we're seeing in the world right now are influenced or are due to people finding God and also making mistakes, such as the Iran War. They got a party bus, I think Yeah Yeah, but I hear it Yeah, yeah So people who have found God And are using God to try and influence the world And bring peace to the world I think there's a lot of people There's some people out there like that And they're not really being talked about or recognized Oh yeah, I appreciate that And if you could ask people around the world one question What would you ask them?

[6:00] I would ask them, let me think for a moment, take your time, there's no rush, the stage is yours

[6:10] I don't know, I would ask what are we doing, like what are we doing in the world, why do we not recognize each other as just one people, like why do we treat our homeless like they're filth, why do we treat each other like we hate each other, why don't we just love each other, because there's just We're just one love. We're just one people. We're all just one. And we're one with God. Yet we treat each other like we're terrible. That's all I have to say. Why are we doing this? Speaking of that, so what's it been like being homeless? It hasn't been that bad. I have some money that I saved up. But speaking of money, I'm running out. Yeah, yeah. So, but it's pretty difficult. Is this like the closest to zero you've been? Is this the brokest you've been? Like in a vulnerable state? Yeah, pretty much. So what's that actually been like? Like that's real. It's extremely challenging.

[7:04] Challenging but I I challenge myself on purpose to make myself Grow spiritually quicker, and I'll be honest. It's actually Vastly increased the pace in which I grow spiritually

[7:22] Not really a plan no direction. I just sort of planned along as I was going I just sort of figured I'd go across the US So, you started in Massachusetts? Yeah, I started in Massachusetts, headed up to Burlington, Vermont, then New York, then New York City, then down to Virginia, then North Carolina, then all the way to Oklahoma, then Arkansas, and then left, and then Colorado, yeah. Sick, okay. Yeah, it was really hard, it was really hard, I faced a lot of challenges, some people hurt me, um, yeah So yeah, we're, uh, I guess, one of the, um, the hardest situations in that whole time getting here

[8:16] What was the hardest situation? I mean, just kind of like where you felt, like, this is difficult Oh, uh, well, one guy held a knife to me for six hours, uh, that was, that was fun Why? Because he didn't like what I was doing And because I'm doing a good job Because I'm good at what I do And yeah, I guess that's about it Damn, okay, so if you were to leave here, what direction would you go? Where would you, kind of, what's the next step? You like it here so far? Yeah, I love it here It's a really beautiful city I Would Say My Next Plan I Honestly I'm Not Sure Where I'm Going To Go After Honestly I'm Just Looking For Resources I'm Asking God For Resources And Hopefully God Comes Through There Are A Lot Of Resources Here To House People I Don't Know If You've Looked Into The Websites I Can Hook You Up I Can Call Someone They Know A Lot Of Different Like Oh Yeah There's Like The 2-1-1 Telephone Number I For Like My Friend

[9:23] does a lot of activism. I don't know exactly the websites or what to do, but I don't know. I heard it because I felt like this place is very expensive and I'm struggling even with an apartment and a job. I was told that there's a lot of resources here over other cities and states to help. I don't know, I could call someone too. He moves around so much with that thing great camera great camera man awesome it's a cool angle and I like to get like a drone is like fly it around yeah y'all are pretty cool your message for Andrew a message for Andrew okay Andrew I'm waiting outside your

[10:13] venue. I'm a man of the people. Come and find me, please. I would love to be interviewed by you. What would you want to talk about? That's a good question. I guess we were just talking about God and stuff. There's a lot to talk about with that. Also not a lot to talk about. I don't know. I'm not really too sure.
