[0:00] So, today we're doing interviews for poidh, picture it or it didn't happen. The question this week is, is the internet good for spreading truth or misinformation?

[0:11] I would honestly think that it's a tool for both. There's scammers on all parts of the internet, every little nook and cranny and corner, right? So, there's people who run Facebook scams, they cheat you into buying some really cool products primarily because they can game you, like you can be interested in seeing that, like really nice iPhone for like 17k, you'll be misinformed and somebody will run away with your money, but at the same time I feel like there's unequal number of people who are debunking these scams online, people are telling you, art, no, that guy, not good to do any sort of business with him primarily because they are shady, and also resist that good deal for most of the time.

[0:51] There's so many misinformation and disinformation campaigns that have been posted online, it could be for politically motivated reasons, I'm trying to one-up a competitor in my own vertical, it could be sales, whatever it is, and in and of itself that makes the internet a tool for misinformation and disinformation, but at the same time, the same way you can find communities that debunk all of this information, there's still corners of the internet where you can actually find the real truth, where you can figure out what way is happening I'm not all too sure about which tool it is specifically, but I think there's a US based
