We call them partners. Donors doesn’t really fit what this is. Every dollar pays a working journalist, and the publishing setup is onchain, so what we ship stays free to access and can’t get pulled down. Two channels are open right now — Giveth and POIDH. Two more go live June 1.

Bounties are live on poidh.xyz/a/wethemedia. Anyone can chip in. The community decides what gets reported. No platform fees, onchain receipts.
Push, not pull. Kickstarter and GoFundMe ask for money to do a thing. Bounties work the other way around — we have money, please somebody do this thing. Anyone can stack the bounty. The reporter gets paid on delivery. The mechanism only works because the rails are trustless.
Note: the dollar-for-dollar match pool unlocks once the first token of patronage sells. Until then, every contribution stacks the original bounty directly.
